The first time I drove a car, I hit our house. :P

We started out in a park parking lot and all it's little roads that are only 10 mph (probably like 25kmph). We were driving a stick shift on top of it all. Then mom told me to hit the main road and head home. I was like, shaking trying to force myself to get up to 25mph (40kmph). It was pretty much a straight shot with one turn onto our road, so it was easy. but as I was turning into our drive way I forgot which pedal did what, since there's like 3 of them, and hit the gas instead of the brake and took like....6 inches off the corner of the house.

oops!

I am a much better driver now and have even driven across the country (states) all by myself!

This was the third time I have driven but the first time that it was my idea to do so. The first time I drove I was 14. My dad wanted me to drive so I tried. At this time I wasnt terrified of driving. So it started with me driving ok. It was an empty street so that was good. I started driving and then somehow i managed to stall an automatic car but somehow I managed to do that. Then my dad told me to turn right when he ment left. Almost drove into a fire station. We got all fixed and i went to park the car and that went ok. The next time wasnt great. I was living with my boyfriend and his roommate at the time. They had gone out drinking one night were too drunk to drive. The roommate insisted that he was not going to leave his car no matter what.( it was a complete junker) He ws going to take it or I was going to drive it but there was no way that he was going to leave it there. They were really drunk and getting ready to start a bar fight so I told them just to get in the car and I would drive us home. First letting drunk people give ( ... )
