Okay, well, today I declined an invitation to something I really wanted to go to because there would be fringe opportunity to do things I've sworn not to. Good for you! For what it's worth, I'm proud of you! I know you don't need my approval but it's inspiring to see someone else say "No thanks" and stand up to the peer pressure of a situation that might be uncomfortable or risky for you - regardless of what that other person understands or beleives. Thanks, sweetheart. I don't know if it's strength, though, or just trying to avoid the stuff from the past, lol. Somehow I still get it all wrong *sigh* but maybe I'll learn someting from it.
