I know the expression that says a diamond is a girls best friend but mine is make up! :-)  I love makeup.  Anytime that I go to get prescriptions filled while I'm waiting I usually end up buying some type of eye shadow and lip gloss.  At any point in time I will have at least 3 different lip glosses with me.  If I see someone wearing make up that I ( Read more... )

The past couple of days have been unbearably hot.  I was keeping track of all the temperatures yesterday at every point I went out.

8:00AM on my way to work it was 84

4:30PM on my way home from work it was 104

8:00PM on my way to belly dancing it was 97

and 10:00 on my way home from belly dancing it was 90.

I had a really nice weekend.  I didn't do much but that's ok because I needed to recover 100% from whatever bug I caught.  I went shopping and got lots of stuff.  At one store I got a pair of slacks, a pair of jeans, and a shirt.  At another store I got 2 more shirts and a new wallet. And last weekend I bought 3 new halter tops.  I bought so many ( Read more... )

My mom called me today to tell me about my Grandmother. Well actually she's my step-dad's mother. She is very old and apparantly very sick. She has made it clear to my parents and all the doctors that she had lived her life and she is ready to die. This makes me sad because...well lets face it, it's sad when anyone dies.
