Allow yourself to be broken. Allow your friends and family to love you. Allow yourself to feel whatever emotions come up. Remember the activities and things that make you comfortable (not necessarily puking-rainbows-happy, just comfy) and DO them. It's hard to not be a cave dweller when you're sad, but I really think at least getting out of the house is helpful. I also strongly stand behind counseling, my old insurance plan gave me 5 free visits per year and I used them!!

Um, I dunno what else - I'm sorry to hear you're in pain, I am thinking healing thoughts at you.

aw, becca, just saw your news. I'm so sorry. I'll be in Vancouver for work for 10 days starting Aug 3. Want to come up for the weekend and hang out?

Mostly, I think time is the thing that heals. And if you can spend time with people you really trust, it can help. Call me if you want. I miss you.

Big virtual hugs, Rebecca!

I don't always have great advice in these situations but please know that you can call me anytime. At the very least, I can lend a sympathetic ear and I now that you probably need to vent.

I like (and agree with) the advice from isis - You're allowed to be broken because this is the time when you can turn to friends and family to help keep you together.

Sending good thoughts your way...

Oh, rebecca I don't know how I missed this post on Monday. I don't have any really helpful new suggestions, but I am very sorry to hear this -- and wish you well.
