I really liked this play because I think it showed that family is really the only thing you have. Yes, Creon was Polyneices’s uncle and he made a law that said no one could bury him but his sister came to his rescue. The royalty of Thebes is the most dysfunctional family in history and that's saying something because if you know anything about Ivan the Terrible, that's a pretty raucous bunch.

I liked it too because it showed how much family means to some people. And also now little it means to some (Antigone's sister). I think that if she even cared a little bit, she would have found a way to help her sister out.
