I really liked this play because I think it showed that family is really the only thing you have. Yes, Creon was Polyneices’s uncle and he made a law that said no one could bury him but his sister came to his rescue. I have to give her credit though because she was brave enough to go against everyone and give her brother a proper burial. Her

The royalty of Thebes is the most dysfunctional family in history and that's saying something because if you know anything about Ivan the Terrible, that's a pretty raucous bunch.

I liked it too because it showed how much family means to some people. And also now little it means to some (Antigone's sister). I think that if she even cared a little bit, she would have found a way to help her sister out.
