Current disaster would be that I have (apparently) been incorrectly paid working/disability and child tax credit (for several kids)for the last four years. So I have been told to repay it in 28 days time or be prosectuted.

Gobsmacked, totally. I just don't know what else to say. Both Kath and myself send *hugs*

I also apologise that I've been quiet for so long - new job uncertainty plus some family stuff which I'll fill you in on next time I speak to you. Kath and I are still OK though :)
