OK, since you're writing over 2000 words (so you told me), I'm going to give you a long comment. I didn't know that the soup incident is so funny! *rofl* maybe you list me as [bad user name] next time hahaha. you've been growing like me a bit. quoting things all the time. but it's fun isn't it? I wish I can be on skipe as long as I want. the thing is, the internet limit is so small, unless I watch it my mum will murder me *grin*
ok, I'm going now. before you get sick of my comment *auch* bye!
Since I've just spent the last couple of minutes chuckling over your entry, I thought I'd better redeem myself by attempting to say something vaguely helpful, so, as a tip to aid you in avoiding future soup incidents, you could: A. Heat the soup in a plastic jug and then pour it into your bowl, (plastic jugs aren't anywhere near as hot to lift out of the microwave, so you can dispense with the oven mit), or B. Heat the soup in the bowl but cover it with glad wrap. This serves two purposes. You tend to avoid drastic spillages and it stops the soup boiling over and splattering the microwave.
Oh, and on a completely unrelated note, have fun at camp. :)
This is really annoying! You are going to take me out of business! You're younger and prettier than me and you can blog frighteningly like me! What am I gonna do now? How am I going to keep all my 3.4 adoring fans satisfied now that I have competition? Why am I been given a run for my money by someone three years younger than me? What does this tell me about my validity as a blogger, or even as a human being? You are even kinda attempting to argue with me, as when I originally had that conversation in August with you, I argued that morality was a democracy. I can see your opposing point, and Goodkind/Richard illustrates it well, but as you sorta suggested, it is kinda idealist/naive in some cases. The question is an interesting one to me anyway. Maybe I'll write an entry about the opposing viewpoint, if I get bored enough. I'll need to do something to keep myself in the game!
Hey Bec, Hahahahahahaha, love the soup story, though at the time when these kinds of things happen they're never funny. I ended up spilling a whole cup of tea all over the floor the other day, so I can feel your pain. :) I've only just noticed that you added me as a friend. Sorry if you added me ages ago. I tend to be rather unobservant when it comes to my lj friends list. Anyway, I look forward to reading your posts. It's taken me about 5 minutes to write this post, which suggests I should probably go and get some sleep. Take care and talk to you soon, lauren
Wow, four comments! Four! Thanks for the advice Caitlin, and thank you to all you other marvellous people who commented, I feel appreciated. 3.4 adoring fans, Jonathan? I hope you're not calling me the 0.4 portion of a fan! That would offend me greatly. Don't worry, I won't blog like this forever, it's just a phase I'm going through. I think. And you're still smarter and cooler than me.
