I thought of you when I heard the news. I sure hope she's okay. I haven't read the comics, but this is Wonder Woman.

Awwww I'm glad my reputation precedes me! ;) And yeah, Wonder Woman's one of the few characters iconic enough to matter even outside of comics. I'm crossing EVERYTHING!

she's Israeli and speaks with an accent which means that this isn't an Americanised Diana
I hope they do go this direction with her. That's so gross that people were complaining about her boobs though, ugh. I think she has a good look for Diana, and honestly I'm just excited that Wonder Woman will be in a movie at all.

I'm pretty sure they will, because the rumour was that the frontrunners were Gal Gadot, Elodie Yung and Olga Kurylenko, all of whom have accents, so if that's true (and given the way it's panned out I'm inclined to believe it?) then all their finalists had accents. I could buy one of their favourites just happening to have an accent and them being like, "ah, either she can fake an American one or we'll have Diana be foreign," but all three? Sounds more like something they were deliberately looking for ( ... )
