Well, after not-posting in forever, I seem to have a few thoughts about last night's Sleepy Hollow season 3 finale. Spoilers, of course. ( Warning: I am not a happy camper. If you liked last night's episode, you should not click. )

S1 was utterly glorious. After that, it didn't go off the rails so much as blow up the entire train station. I quit somewhere in S2. In my head, S1 was a glorious mini series and the rest never happened.

I confess to thinking all the way through the credits and into the next morning that this was just another cliffhanger type ending. When I read the reviews I was shocked that they really had killed Abbie! Made no sense at all.

I did read that the actress wanted to move on so that made the blow a tiny bit easier although I would like to hear her confirm this.

She was a wonderful character. This is only a little bit easier than Person of Interest killing of Taraji P. Henson (Joss Carter). Strong, beautiful female in authority that I wanted to see more and more of and then bam. Gone.
