YULETIDE LETTER GOES HERE
Dear Yuletide writer,
I LOVE YOU. YOU ARE SUPER GREAT TO WRITE ME A STORY! I took a million years to actually post this letter, but I hope it's helpful. <3
I like character-centric stories. I like getting into the heads of characters I like and seeing how they experience and think about things. I never turn down a good plot, but I'm generally more interested in people and relationships.
I like humor. I like banter. I like people overcoming obstacles. I like stories about personal agency. I like strong women, recognizing that there are a lot of ways for women to be strong. I don't like character-bashing or making characters one-dimensional for plot purposes. I don't like infidelity of any kind. I like hopeful endings. I like porn, but I don't want you to feel obliged to write me any.
Taylor Swift & Selena Gomez
I'd like: Femmeslash. BFFy Taylor-is-in-love-with-Selena femmeslash. Or BFFy non-femmeslash. I LOVE how highly Taylor thinks of Selena and how they talk about their friendship and the dynamic of Taylor who's an incredibly hard-working perfectionist who's also basically a romantic, and Selena who's a little more laid-back and can make Taylor loosen up a little. Bonus points for sleepovers, long phone calls, and songwriting.
Fast and the Furious Series: Dom, Brian O'Conner, Mia
I'd like: What I would love the very most is a threeway relationship, especially something householdy (post Fast Six or going AU from any other point in the series).Include Letty as desired to make it OT4, also! I love the idea of Dom and Mia's mutual attraction to Brian bringing them together. But if incest or threeways aren't your thing, I would also love any other exploration of Dom/Brian, Brian/Mia, or Dom/Mia. Or gen about Dom and Mia growing up and depending on each other in different ways pre-series. My only caveat about fic set later in the series is that although I love domesticity and don't want to ignore canon, I'm not into fic where the main focus is on children or parenthood. I'd rather the main conflict/events in the story relate to something else.
Wizards of Waverly Place: Alex & Justin
I'd like: Futurefic would be AMAZING. Since the series is over, I feel like the world is wide open to play in. I'd love incest fic about these two, but I'm also open to anything that explores the changing dynamic between them as they grow up (I think the show did a pretty impressive job of this in their teenage years, considering). I would also be super into something like a non-magic AU that recontextualizes their relationship.
Skins (UK): Tony & Effy
I'd like: Literally anything about how Tony and Effy relate to each other as adults, and how their lives have turned out. Or incest set at any point before, during, or after their series. There is so much of their relationship we don't see in the show, space that is intentionally left blank, and it would be great to see more of what they're like alone together. NB: I don't actually know if this is relevant, but I haven't seen series 7.
I realize I've talked a lot about incest, but it's completely fine if you're not up for that. I think all of the characters I've asked for have incredibly interesting canon relationships, and I really just want to see more of them. If you don't ship them, please just don't tell me why I'm wrong to do so. I hope that's common courtesy, but I've participated in exchanges where it hasn't been.
