the summer

i realized today why i hated the summer so much. it didn't have so much to do with the humidity (although i hate that too) as it did with the light. it should not be light at 6am. it should be pitch black. therefore, if i don't have to be awake until 7:15am then the sun shouldn't be annoyingly poking itself into my eyes before the alarm clock
