► TUMBLR:
(Shame? What's that? Sounds like I don't need that.) I've started posting on my sunshinebright tumblr because, well, where else was I going to have a small Gundam Wing revival. Any fanart of the girls would go on the usual tumblr, but it is super hard to find art of them. ;__; Also, Junjou Romantica because I've been kind of dying ( Read more... )

It's already been said on the Zynga forums that there won't be a second page for the St. Patrick Day's Pot of Gold...which really pisses me off because I have a ton of gold and despite not having redeemed anything, have gotten all I want from the first page. I'm still waiting to see if they were lying and just psyching us out but I suspect they're not.

And seriously, I did not like the fact that we're being limited with our energy in CityVille! I never get much of them as it is and I always prefer permits but still, I like have a cache that I can use whenever I want.

The same thing happened to me at the second Gym. I used Servine/Janovy for the first one and tried to use a different one for her second Pokemon who ended up decimating my team so I was forced to use Servine again to finish it off. It was brutal and I seriously wondered if I misjudged the level of my team.

There's not going to be a second page for the Pot of Gold?? I am kind of genuinely cranky about that! I know I shouldn't be and I'll probably get right on over it when the English Countryside gets here (WHICH BETTER BE SOON, JEEZ) but I still feel kind of cheated a little! Not that I don't appreciate the lighthouses and fountains but, yeah, I got six fountains without even having to trade any gold in. Honestly ( ... )

Oh my god, your CityVille city must be absolutely huge! I'm nowhere near as big, only 95,000. And I don't play this game nearly as often or as much as FarmVille so even one expansion is very expensive for me... :\

I don't see the point in limiting the gifts in CityVille frankly... I mean, you can store up to 2000 items in your Inventory, waaaayyy more than FarmVille, yet item limits are imposed? What, are they going to drop that maximum number soon and want us to start clearing our Inventories?

I used a that bunny fighting thing with the second gym and it was whomped. Low kick is incredibly weak! Even with it being at super effective, it still got knocked out really easily. Hopefully the next guy isn't as harsh (even though I spent three hours leveling up just in case).

I probably don't spend as much time on Cityville as I do Farmville, but I do run in there and collect from my businesses every couple of hours just to keep the money rolling in. But it pains me that I didn't really pay attention to the collection bonuses until now--ALL THE EXTRA MONEY I COULD HAVE BEEN MAKING FOR THINGS I WAS ALREADY GOING TO DO--!! T__T

The really frustrating part about the second gym for me was that damn dog's super potion that couldn't be avoided. Even if, by all rights, I should have finally knocked it out, because you have to go through the super potion, there was always a sliver of life left, so, of course, it could still use fucking Take Down. The only good thing about that was when it was used on weaker Pokemon and it was hit with recoil, argh.

DOES IT GET WORSE THAN EPISODES TWO AND THREE? Because little girls and the opening monster of the third episode were kind of WAY BEYOND WHAT I WAS EXPECTING. .__.

No more little kids in the Aka half. I did run across one in the Kuro half, which I'm about halfway through.

I... wouldn't say I'm disappointed to hear that, because who wants creepy child monsters, but I do find they're often very effective in a horror series. But I assume the show still keeps up its creepfest even without little kids?

I've been enjoying Shikabane Hime a lot, although main boy bores me to tears. I don't give a damn how noble and caring he is; I want more of Makina being a badass. I checked out the first chapter of the manga. Main boy isn't in it at all. The story jumps right into Makina taking down corpses (. . .by nearly setting herself on fire and launching out of a window).

I love her "you feared me just now--that means you've lost" line.

In a case of ALL YOUR FAULT, I'm watching Puella Magi Madoka Magica, too. It's so pretty, and the art on Tumblr is gorgeous.

(Is Pixiv easy to browse if you only read English?)

I don't dislike Ouri yet, but I definitely have to say that he's not exactly interesting. He's just... there. You really don't know much of anything about him, while Makina is already soaring in terms of characterization, sometimes even with just a look on her face. But, as long as he's not actively a jerk, then I think I can tolerate him. Especially given how horrifying some of the monsters are in this series!

MAHOU SHOUJO MADOKA MAGICA. ♥ NEW EPISODE TONIGHT, CANNOT WAIT. ♥ SERIES IS EATING ME SO HARD. ♥

Pixiv is pretty easy to browse even without knowing any Japanese, you're basically just looking at a ton of pictures. It helps to have the kanji for certain series on hand to c&p for the tags, but you can also just bookmark tags like I do--I have a running list here, along with some links to sign up tutorials. (Since you can only view 10 pages and can't see the full view without an account ( ... )

You find out a little bit more about Ouri towards the end of Aka. But at the end of episode 20, they kind of drop a bombshell about him and suddenly a lot of things start making sense.

Does he remain about the same level of character then? Inoffensive but not particularly interesting? Or does the bombshell make him interesting? I'm not opposed to that, but 20 episodes (out of, what? 24? 26?) is a bit of a wait.

*does a happy dance about the GW art* I'll never, ever get tired of seeing it. :-)

I'm glad you like Star Crossed Anime Blog. psgels is one of my favorite bloggers. His opinions and mine are usually pretty close, so I always know if he likes something, chances are good that I will, too.

I am going to get posting on it again! DO NOT LET ME SLACK OR GET DISTRACTED (....like I did earlier today....) BECAUSE I HAVE A LOT TO DO. orz

(GundamW is like Sailor Moon or Dragonball for me, too. I don't care how old the series is, I NEVER TIRE OF PRETTY ART. *__*)

I find the same thing! I've used his blog to figure out what to watch in a given season a lot and he's usually pretty close to how I feel, too! And I love that he's not limited by genres, he watches magical girl anime and likes them! He loves Heartcatch Precure as much as I do! Why can't there be more bloggers like him? XD

You're horrible! Stop making me want to rewatch Sailor Moon!

Deal with it! If I have the urge to rewatch the entire series, the rest of you can deal with it, too!

I've been reading the manga lately and the pacing definitely is much faster (but 200 episodes from an 18 volume series, of course it's going to seem much shorter, so I don't mind terribly much) but I'm enjoying it a lot. It's interesting on its own merits, not just as a comparison to the anime. (And even if there's not as much Mamoru/Shitennou interaction, I'm enjoying his characterization in the manga sooo much, so it evens out. XD)

Oh man,now I want soul bond fic. Thanks for that.

It happens kind of a lot, actually! Mamoru can be halfway across the city, doing homework or whatever, and Usagi will transform/get into a fight and he'll suddenly just look up and know. They don't really seem to comment on it directly, but it happens fairly consistently, so it's pretty clear they're connected that way. YOU SHOULD LOOK FOR SOME SOUL BOND FIC FOR ME. :D :D :D

That ( ... )
