► FARMVILLE:
→ The addiction to Farmville is getting bad enough that I've started browsing the wiki. But it's hard not to! Not when I'm looking at the trees page and seeing, huh, I have nearly every tree from the mystery seedlings now, except that fucking Chinese Lantern tree and the Giant Masquerade tree and the Giant Mac & Cheese tree. Giant Masquerade tree? Wait, what? I've never even heard of this tree before! Is that the Giant Mardi Gras tree or is it completely different? I ask, because trees are my thing.

And I hate the Giant Bubblegum tree... I've never gotten so many of one tree before, all in relative succession and it blocks the hell out of everything around it! I can't wait to master it to get rid of it once and for all.

It's this one and, according to the wiki, it should be possible to get it as a mystery seedling. The regular one isn't listed in that section of the chart, but when you look at it's page it says it has the chance of producing a mystery seedling. So I'm not really sure?

I just want one to have one, because I'm not actually very fond of the palm-tree-style look.

And how you feel about the Giant Bubblegum tree is how I feel about the Mint Candy tree. Well, maybe I still like it a little, it is at least colorful, but jeez I get a freaking ton of them. I like the Giant Bubblegum ones, though, because someday I will have a cute fairy tale-style forest area and I'm going to need some giant trees in the background for it. Otherwise, I'd probably hate them with a passion, too. (Same for those Giant Heart Candy trees.)

Ah, so it is the Giant Mardi Gras tree! Thank god, I thought I might actually be a tree short of having them all. It's pretty rare when I'm caught up with the trees so I like to milk it as much as I can. And it's actually a really pretty tree. Or maybe it's just the fact that it's predominately purple, one of my favorite colors. It's the same reason why the Giant Heart Candy trees are much more preferable than the Giant Bubblegum ones even though they're just as big and block the same amount of space...

I definitely like the purple trees better than the pink ones--probably because I got so many cherry trees so early on (though, I've hardly seen many of them lately) and you can get those decorative magnolia trees as gifts, so the pressure to get pink trees isn't as great. Now, if only they'd start doing more white trees--those dogwood decoration ones were so pretty! *__*

Ayakashi's an anthology series, yeah, but the final story is full of awesome. It probably would have been better to have seen that before Mononoke though. ^^;;

I think I'm glad I went in the wrong order, I have to admit--because I liked Mononoke so much right away, it gave me extra momentum with Ayakashi to power through that first story arc, where I might have dropped it otherwise. Plus, this way, I have that final story to look forward to and everyone says how great that one was! *___*

THE SQUEAKING NOISES OF PAIN SHE MADE AS SHE TRIED NOT TO MAKE ANY NOISE. I LOVE HER SO MUCH.

And I love that Haruka's just like :) the whole time while Mamoru is ~_~; and Chibi-Usa is ( ̄へ ̄)and it's just. a ;sdlkfjasl;j my favorite! I think the less than stellar animation is a lot of what really makes it, too--Usagi's faces reminded me of Crayon Shin-chan? And I swear I saw the name "Shin" written somewhere, but I've never really watched it, so I don't know if that's the crossover?

And I watched the first two seasons in order and several episodes of S, but... I'm not sure why I decided to start with Super S at the same time, really? I think the thought was, "Well, I remember it being not as good as S, so I'll get that one out of the way, while I ration S a bit more..." and then I just sort of wound up watching them at the same time? Idk why I'm doing it that way, either. (I probably shouldn't, but now that I'm invested in both seasons...!)

USAGI IS TOTALLY THE BEST. Sometimes my Mamoru obsession threatens to overwhelm me a bit, but, no, USAGI IS ALWAYS THE BEST. ALWAYS. (Though, man, I am really enjoying anime!Minako, too. When they let her shine, she is BATSHIT CRAZY and I love her endlessly for it.)

Normally, I like watching things in order for the same reason! And I probably would have done the same here if Sailor Moon had a more linear plot from season to season (like, I would never read the manga out of order), but it sort of felt almost like five separate seasons? And it actually is kind of interesting to watch the two of them side by side, to better compare/contrast.

You're watching Stars later, right, right??? <3OH MAN I AM SO TORN. I know it's a really good season! And I loooooove the final episode a lot! BUT MAMORU IS DEAD FOR MOST OF IT. (Or whatever you want to call that.) THIS MAKES ME REALLY CRANKY, especially with the way the anime clearly kind of played up the Seiya/Usagi. And yet... what's an epic rewatch if I don't get my ass in gear to ( ... )

I REMEMBER EPISODE 104 OMG. THE SPOOF EPISODE YES.

Queen Usagi still being fail at Japanese even after almost a thousand years will never not be funny in my books. And I laughed SO HARD at the tea ceremony thing, at all four of them. Haruka was the perfect foil to everybody else's antics, and LOL I can totally imagine the mother-daughter antics in the future Crystal Tokyo already - "Ma, you were kind of really weird when you were young! Daddy was as cool as always, though."

And Sailor Chibi Moon's speech getting interrupted! Her attack not reaching the enemy, and the enemy's just. SITTING THERE. Waiting with such a silent "..."! Sailor Chibi Moon maintaining her attack pose as she inched forward! The genius tea ceremony master's inspiration! This was one of the best daimon fights in the season for the sheer amount of spoofing it did, I swear.

Ahhh, good times.

I think SS had more than one spoof episode...? Maybe? I can't remember, it was so long ago ahhhh. DON'T YOU MAKE ME REWATCH EVERY SEASON AGAIN.

I really wish Sailor Moon had been funny more often, because it was brilliant when it was really trying! The spoofing episodes hold up just as well today as they would have back in the day (I watched Minako's episode where she gets her heart crystal taken out and I am STILL laughing at her cackle) because, as much as I love the series, sometimes the lather-rinse-repeat formula of the show got a little old.

OH MAN I WANT CRYSTAL TOKYO ANTICS SO BADLY. You know Chibi-Usa's parents were still Usagi and Mamoru, so they might have matured, but they were still going to be dorks sometimes. Especially her mom. (912 Going on 14 is still one of my favorites for exactly this.)

Chibi Moon's SERIOUS FACE NOT WAVERING as she inched towards the enemy, the BAP BAP BAP BAP as it smacked into the Daimon's face, not actually doing any damage, Chibi Moon just DETERMINEDLY KEEPING HER POSE, it makes me laugh just thinking about it.

W-well... you don't have to rewatch every episode? You could just rewatch key episodes? *shifty*
