Hi, lj. It's been awhile! Sorry, tumblr got me and got me really good. I've spent most of my talking time over there. But, you know, I miss you, lj. I actually want to hang out with the people I know from lj! So I'm going to try to post to you more often! It used to seem impossible that I could ever leave lj, but I have to admit... tumblr has been awfully fun. At the same time, though, I feel like the people I meet on lj are the ones that I actually want to follow from account to account, where tumblr feels much more impermanent. (Though, I am considering moving to dreamwidth, since it feels like so many people have moved there.)

But I'm glad you're still around, too! You're one of my favorite lj people! ♥

I'm the same way! It's felt so quiet after tumblr, so I've felt like I shouldn't post very much because it's so quiet here (when I'm used to posting, like, 80 times a day) and so it just sort of languishes. I need to get back to being more patient and taking time to craft actual posts.

I do warn that my tumblr is super high traffic, but... awesome ladies... there are so many of them!! And I believe I have followed you back as well! o/

Tumblr is just so easy. I come over to lj and I'm like "Shoot! I actually have to form coherent thoughts!".

With as often as I check my tumblr I appreciate the fresh content! (and you did follow me!)

Yes! I feel like tumblr is relevant to my style of posting, because it forces me to try to be coherent on the fly and that's what I've always wanted to achieve. (Even if it's a long road to walk.) But I don't feel anywhere near as connected to those people, probably because tumblr lacks a good private messaging system, which is where I really get to know someone.

But also. Constant fresh content! Yes please do want. *__*

It's been a while! I'm on a manga binge - the first I've had in at least five years, I swear - and, uh, there is a ridiculous amount of manga I've reread this past few days when I had the time to breathe.

Oh man, tumblr has eaten me too. But it's good to see you posting again! I hope you have a wonderful New Year's!

And just out of curiosity, were you familiar with the Tintin comics before you watched the movie? I was a huge fan of them when I was younger, and I'm wondering how the movie holds up from that perspective. I am kind of nervous about seeing it, tbh.
