for a re-do on life, yesterday would have been it. Not everything, just the middle and the end. I need to learn how to handle stress better... not let it consume me and morph into this thing that causes panic attacks.

Worse, I don't regret opening up, I regret how I had to open up. Email would have been more effective.

I'm like a boy fiending for his crack sometime and it's so odd.

Will I always want what may be impossible to have?

I say let's work on the possible, but that always seems to be so damn elusive.

A good start for my baseball team

A good grade in my class.

Signing up without problems tomorrow and having my schedule set up till next Spring.

Saving money.

Finding a roommate.

Saving more money.

"Lips of an Angel" is not a good song. I'll start off by getting that off my chest. It's got some cheesy lyrics and it's a "rock song" that is pretty derivitive of an 80's esque power ballad. Amy Winehouse's "Rehab" really demonstrates what a soulful, skillfull singer she is. She's got so much gravity and soul and feeling in her voice, it's amazing. The song's about her experience of being asked to go to rehab by management for her drinking. She claims that she was drinking because she was in love and fucking up the relationship. The Kooks' "Naive"... one of those songs played constantly on the Express Soundtrack. Besides tearing into my wallet rather viciously, the store did provide me an outlit for some great songs (See Mika's "Grace Kelly" as another fine example). "When the Night Feels my Song" by Bedouin Soundtrack is... well a summer song before the summer has even began. Reggae done by a bunch of dudes from Canada... yet so brilliant. No really! If ya been ignoring these videos, check out at least this one bitches :D

One of the best songs written in modern times... but my choice for the night is not by the song's creators. Rather, it's Ryan Adams haunting, slower version that really gets me jazzed. It's either an ode to a great love . . . or feelings that forever remain unrequainted.
