Jack left the Time Agency after he woke up one morning with a splitting headache, a sinking feeling in the pit of his stomach, and two years of his life missing.
His life became a game played across space and time. Jack chased his memories and The Agency chased their renegade agent.
He bought information and sold lies. He changed his ship and his name but never his rank. He fell in love half a dozen times with as many different species and made twice as many enemies.He fucked against metal space station walls and in primeval mud. He saw worlds locked in ice and consumed by fire. He was moved to tears by beauty and wept with despair. He fought like a wildcat and he ran like hell.
He lived. Across a thousand worlds and a million years, on silver sand and beneath golden skies, he lived.
