I signed on to help my sister out. Watch her cat, get her mail, take care of the house. What I didn't sign on for was a hurricane. I know it's not a big one, small as they come actually. But I don't like it. Ana and Tiff, how the hell do you do it, it sounds like the house is going to fall over. and the rain hitting my bedroom window is not

ernesto was a bitch when he came here. all it did was rain! as far as REAL hurricanes, we put up shutters and hide! most of the time it comes through early morning or late night so i'm usually sleeping. i hope you're okay! 14 more days!

oooh I still remember Category 5 hurricane Andrew....We stayed at my friend's two story house and the pets were all on the second floor...I went upstairs to check on them and i SWORE that there was a vacuum over us trying to suck the roof off the house....SCARY.

oh, and yea, hurricane rain isn't soothing because it lands on stuff SIDEWAYS because of the wind, instead of vertically like it should. Damn mother nature.
