departed from the European Space Agency's (ESA) launch center in Kourou,
French Guiana on the northeast coast of South America at 4:17 a.m. local time

Comments: Dear Becky,
Thought this might interest (and amaze) you. Just imagine the math involved.
Love, grandpa
we totally have a math connection. haha that's so cool that he sent it to me. i only got it today, so it expired before i could read it. oh well, it's the thought that counts. i bet i can find it if i try hard enough. when i was younger, sometimes he would cut math problems or riddles out of the newspaper and give them to me to solve. he's really interesting because he's so smart and he's experienced so much in his life. soon, i should sit down with him and ask him about his whole life and tape record it and save it. actually mr adams said he wants us to do that for WWII veterans so i think i might. it would be like a living history lesson, that would be so awesome.
anyway, i was up veeeerrrrry late last night talking online. i mean.. doing homework. i mean... yes.
so i am going to go to bed.
also, today during english, i wrote small segments of lyrics from songs in circles and lines and stuff on a paper. they overlap. i tried to be very artful. unfortunately, i now know nothing about "a farewell to arms."
hemingway, shmemingway. you win some, you lose some.
g'night.
