It's taking me longer to get my head round Hotch than any of the other characters. Saying he's complex doesn't quite cover it.

But I'm glad this quote inspired you :D

It's very hard because it's more than complexity. It's. Jack was complex. The Doctor was complex. Hotch is complex, controlled, introverted, and understated. Finding a way to reflect that, and not end up writing 'cookie cutter man 3' is... freaking hard.

It has EATEN MY LIFE in such major ways. If you watch nothing else though, watch Omnivore (or even Nameless, Faceless through 100. That's. Pretty much where my fic lives and I just can't. Wrap my brain about what they did with that arc and to the characters. Most unflinching thing I think I've EVER seen on TV.
