so i pushed myself to stay up till 3 last night....of course the whole sleeping in thing didn't really work. first i couldnt fall asleep, 2nd i woke up almost every hour it seems, and 3rd my roomates cat meowed for about an hour at my door around 10. so i guess next time i'll just do the stay on my regular schedule and try to nap before going into

usually if I stay up really late on a Friday or Saturday night, I make up for it by sleeping most of the next day away. Of course, I don't have a cat to meow at me when it thinks I should be getting up. Part of your problem with sleeping may also just be *trying* to switch to a different sleep schedule -- whenever I get in a situation where I feel like I *HAVE* to sleep at a certain time, I get stressed about it and that keeps me from sleeping, no matter how tired I was when I went to bed.
