I'm afraid I was too irritated by the rest of the episode to get a proper appreciation of him yet, so I'm waiting until I see him in action properly before passing judgement.

(Plus I always pout whenever regeneration happens ANYWAY. I cried like a little girl at Eccleston's departure)

I think they should have another n-doctors type of episode. Probably all the classic who actors are too old/dead though (Peter Davison was OK for Children in Need). And I imagine both nine and ten are still trying to get over it.
