Way back in 2005 -- was it really that long ago? -- I saw U2's Vertigo tour twice in a week, once in Philadelphia and once in Washington DC.  It was awesome.

I finally finished reading my seventh book of the year, Skinny Dip by Carl Hiaasen.  I wasn't thrilled by it.  I"m a little behind on my goal to read at least 12 books this year -- even though that's only one a month, it's hard to find the time, especially if I'm reading a book I'm not thrilled by.  I have at least 15 books waiting on the bookshelf ( Read more... )

Thea and Faith went off to school today.  This year they're in the same school.  See pictures of Thea's first day of sixth grade, and Faith's first day of fourth grade.
