Helping Hand

"That looks awkward," Scrapper commented.
Hook ignored his gestalt-mate. He held a bilge-grabber and a soldering iron in his mouth, rebuilding the articulation of his hand. This week's energy-gathering effort had been going so well, too. Up until the Aerialbots arrived.
He'd been forced to leave his hands behind when the indicator-needle got stuck in the red and the machinery started overloading.
Scrapper watched him for a few minutes, shrugged, and wandered off. He knew Hook was perfectly capable of asking for help if he actually wanted help.
Mixmaster wandered in a few minutes later, giggling. "Scrapper said you needed a hand, and you do!" Without hesitation, Mixmaster spat acid on his wrist, then offered the pristine hand to Hook. "Just give it back when you're done, all right?"
