Blanket
***
On Cybertron, they didn't have blankets. They didn't need them; if a Transformer was cold, there was something wrong that he needed to deal with.
They don't really need them on Earth, either, but Scavenger had found the damn thing and gradually added more to it until he made one big enough for all six of them. It was acid-burned and chemical-stained, filthy with mud from all over the world, and cut to fringes in some places, but it was Scavenger's blanket.
So tonight, after another defeat by the Autobots, after Scrapper lost his artwork and Bonecrusher lost his head, after Hook finished reattaching Bonecrusher's head and Mixmaster's hands, after Long Haul hauled Scrapper out of the mud, Scavenger got out the blanket and covered them all with it.
"This is stupid," Hook muttered, hands clutched in the fine material, and he fought like a demon when Mixmaster laughingly tried to pull it away.
