[Doom walks along mildly imperiously, watching as the snow began to fall with greater intensity. He was safe though, even though he didn't have a house yet, he was safe inside of his armor. Of course that was not quite true as he walked along and a building finally buckled under the extra weight of the snow. The abandoned building crumbled in an ( Read more... )

perturbed, annoyed... but yes unharmed. When I find the construction team that built that house though, I may have to show them a thing or two... Damnable snow is getting everywhere.

... Thank you for your concern.

I doubt anyone who actually made these buildings are here. And, you're welcome, but.. you really shouldn't be out there in the first place!

I do not currently maintain a residence, and I assure you I am perfectly fine.

[Doom bursts from a pile of snow completely, shaking himself off as the snow already begins to melt as he heats his armor up a few degrees.]

I do not fear nature or her wrath... And I cannot very well continue my research without more time to search the city...

That's not a good sign.

Um...I know you don't like my much...but uh worse comes to worse, you can always come to my house?

[He gives a forced smile.]

I could use the help in remodeling.

Hn... The offer is... appreciated, but I doubt I'd do well with housemates.

I don't need a place of lodging at this moment anyway. When I find one that suits my needs perfectly, I'll let you know.

Well, I think that Edward kid left his house to live with two others and it seems sturdy and quite large from the feeds I've seen.

I think it's um....on the Southwest Quadrant of the city in some wooded part as near as I could tell.

Perhaps I'll investigate it then. The weather has grown truly abominable. I'm lucky to have this shell, else I'd be losing fingers and toes already.

[He's dragged himself out of the debris, his armor glowing a bit as the snow melts off of him]

I'm fine... shoddy construction work is not yet enough to stop me...

It was not my intent to be buried under a pile of rubble, trust me on that. Consider it simply unfortunate fate. I shall be fine, it would take sterner stuff than that to harm me.

[He's grinning, he can't help himself.] Are you well, dome? Heavy armor will have you in trouble in this weather, sooner or later.

[Doom scowls] it is the armor that keeps me alive out here, anything less and I'd be forced to stay bundled up in doors. Are you enjoying your captivity?

A man makes the best of circumstances. Be sure that you can call on someone, if your joints freeze or if you are caught on ice, mm?

It's not to be a problem, this armor could survive in subzero temperatures for an extended period of time without requiring service. All natural weather phenomena have been accounted for...
