Last Dream Boys of the year for me. :-( It's been a good run, and has confirmed to me without a doubt that the following things are true: Nakamaru's life is hard, Koki should always be blond, Kame's just too amazing to be human (I guess now he's a youkai) and KAT-TUN are completely and utterly insane.

Have some more bullet points.

- I was by myself for this one, having won a random auction bid after deciding I wanted to do an evening show as well, but found the girls on my left to be very entertaining. The one right next to me was clearly a Koki fan, and elbowed me out the way when he came out for the fight so I'd get out of her line of sight. The two on her left had obviously never seen the show before, because they exclaimed "Sugoi!!!" after everything, and almost died when Kame emerged from his coffin for 'Lost My Way'. Admittedly, if anything's going to kill you, LMW!Kame would be a good candidate for it...

- My seat today? V6. I guess that's only amusing to a JE fan, though. But it meant that Kame was four(?) rows in front of me when he walked out for the fight, so it was still a nice view.

- I have no idea which Junior Koki handed his jacket to after the "idol group" finished their song, but the poor guy really struggled to get it on. He wrestled with the damned thing for a couple of minutes, while Koki appeared to be signing autographs for other Juniors.

- Kame has clearly given up on ever keeping his hair out of his face, since he performed 'One Night' without bothering to clear his bangs from his eye. Yep, he's done this show so many times now, he can do it blind. He went through most of the show like that, actually.

- When Koki's gang come out and tell Juri they haven't seen him for ages, the heights they remember him at are becoming increasingly shorter. Apparently he was once knee-high to a grasshopper.

- It was a public holiday today, so the mini Juniors were there at the baseball stadium, rolling the ball across the top step to each other while Kame played guitar on the bench. Juri already knows the lyrics because he's a genius, or so he claims, but Kame didn't look convinced at all. He had such a disturbingly lecherous look while he had his hand on Kame's shoulder. Seriously, what is it with the Tanaka family and a love of getting touchy-feely with Kame? One of the mini Juniors kept sliding his leg over the other's and getting rebuffed; they obviously start them young these days.

- Kame took Juri to task over his "wow wows" in the song, so Juri did the cute little "gomen ne". In fact, Juri had to keep doing it, because Kame didn't think he sounded apologetic enough.

- Somehow, Koki's belly button piercing managed to be less shiny than his shorts. Johnny's costumes...

- Today Iwamoto turned up with a large bottle of Vitamin C tablets instead of a ticket. Madam Ran was not impressed.

- It struck me during the aerial stuff that there are girls whose job it appears to be to strip Kame. (Of his horrible clown suit, admittedly, but still...) How does one apply for this position?

- Watched 'Lost My Way' through binoculars again, this time from the first floor, and...what can I say, it makes my brain switch off. I think it's probably the most graceful, elegant, sharp performance I've ever seen from Kame, and it will be a criminal waste if it doesn't end up on DVD. I'm not interested in the shape of bodies but movement is another matter, and Kame's grace and flexibility draw me in. He just moves so beautifully. ^_^

- The triangle thing doesn't get any less impressive over time. Kame has this whole routine of closing eyes, blowing out air, frantically blinking hair out of his eyes and shaking his shoulders to loosen up, and that's before he even slides his feet into position and inverts his hands on the sides. Still loving the ferocious expressions he keeps coming up with. I honestly think he'd be bored to tears if he didn't have some sort of extraordinary physical feat to challenge himself with.

- It's a good thing the knife wasn't real, because if it had been, Kame would've sliced off one of the dangly things on his coat. He gave a wonderfully fierce, wordless yell as he jumped off the stage.

- If you pay attention to the projection while Kame's running across the wall, he manages to break some windows and set an office on fire during his escape. Maybe he didn't stab anyone, but he's still a vandal.

- Random Koki hair commentary: it was completely flat while he was in hospital, and he had a little ponytail for the last song. Nakamaru can't do that with his hair.

- I shouldn't mock Nakamaru - he managed to hurl two guys to the ground so hard there were breaking glass sound effects.

- Nakamaru changed his beatbox intro again today, greeting us, introducing himself, saying he wanted to do a performance for us etc.

- No giggling in 'One on One', but Koki spent the second half of it waving and blowing kisses at the audience. Then he blew one at Nakamaru. The fans were happy.

- At the end of 'Run For You', they were dancing so closely that Kame almost elbowed first Nakamaru then Koki in the head.

- The MC was insane. We had Koki and Nakamaru doing impersonations of each other. Lots of talk about Massu, and everyone was looking around for him so I guess he was there somewhere? (Don't quote me on that.) But I think Kame said he turned up while he was drying his hair, something like that. Leave it to Kame to work in a story where he gets to toss his hair around. Talk about Fujigaya as well, and Koki let out an extremely American-sounding "Goddamn!"

- Lots of sports talk. Nakamaru pretended to play football, Kame pretended to play baseball, Koki pretended to play golf. They started talking about Tiger Woods and Kame did a very violent golf swing in impersonation.

- Nakamaru hit Kame, who fell down, clutching his arm. Koki helped him up (you can imagine the fangirl reaction), and Kame complained that Nakamaru hurt his arm, and threatened to turn youkai.

- I have no idea what they were doing, but all of them got hooked on doing this "ch-ch-ch-choi-choi" thing, with hand movements like a level crossing. I think Nakamaru started it and they kept it up as a running joke throughout the MC. When they managed to do it together they were happy about their teamwork.

- Nakamaru and Koki did the "wow wow wow wow" from 'Next Dream' while Kame pretended to leap off the stage again.

- Discussion of Nakamaru's do-M status.

- Talk about Miso Soup. (Presumably the song!)

- Nakamaru got called an idiot a couple of times.

- Kame ran off the stage at one point (Nakamaru and Koki did the "ch-ch-ch-choi-choi" thing in unison) and came back with what looked like a fishing rod. This was after talking about Massu, so I think they were expecting him to come back with a human being!

- 'Next Dream' is still my favourite song in the show but I have to say the Kokame duet on 'And I'll Be There' gives it a run for its money. It's just so sweet and heartbreaking, and there's a note Kame hits at the end of the second line (I think) that makes my internal organs turn themselves inside out.
