So, I want a new house, which is dumb. Our 1970's split level actually fits our family much better than I ever imagined. And technically, I want an old house. A big, rambly house with character. It's an absolutely beautiful house, but you're going to need to ask yourselves if you're up to the task of owning an old fixer-upper house. I love my house like you wouldn't believe, but I will be the first to tell anybody that they are deceptively expensive. Problems love to hide behind a hundred years worth of paint and wallpaper, and one repair inevitably leads to something else needing to be fixed.

That is a gorgeous house - but I know nothing about renovating that isn't on a reno tv show. Having said that - if the electrics and plumbing are given the all clear and you and Mark are both on board I'd say go for it. It's a stunning house <3
