ides of a year....

We have all heard the saying "Ides of March"..does anyone know what "ides" means? It means the middle..as in March 15 is 1/2 way of the month of March. It seems that this year the Ides of the month have had significant impact on my life. nah..it wasn't a bad. I just like the expression...enough to have had it as an item in my list of interest on my livejournal profile. It's only through that item of my interest list that I managed to meet some pretty kick ass people; via journals of course. It just struck me as odd that it's come up, yet again.

The middle of the month might be grand for you, but please be aware that it's never good to stare at an empty glass of milk for too long. (speaking of middles).
