Last night I left work, rather late to do a deadline we were trying to make, in a slight dusting of snow. The salters where out already, for what reason I'm not sure. This morning I was woken up by my father who informed me that I had to get up b/c we still have to make our deadline, and I couldn't drive my car due to the blizzard going on

I remember when you were *so excited* to have your own car. Listen to you now, the jaded owner. And gas is totally cheap again. Um. Relatively, that is.
PS: I just went out in trousers and a schweaty and I'm not even cold. Say what you want about Hamilton, sometimes it really is great to live here. :D

I have to laugh, 'cause you guys deal with snow so much more blase'-ly than they do here. The second there's even a whisper of a snowstorm, the plow guys are out putting down the chemical crap (just so the snow will melt as it falls, thereby ensuring that we'll also have a six-inch layer of ice as well....F**KING MORONS!). I miss my Wyoming winters. Six feet and no getting out till spring. It makes things so much more simple. And beautiful as well.
