It's not the entire movie I find funny. Just the first few minutes when they're going out to battle. Maximus has a dog. The dog saves his life. What happens to the dog? You never get to see if the dog makes it out alright. You see Maximus go onto victory and then chats with the King. Joaquin Phoenix arrives and is jealous of Maximus. They go to a party. But...my question is...What happens to the dog? First he saves his life and then he pretty much forgets he was there. If the dog dies, Maximus doesn't even spend a second mourning over his carcass. So ungrateful.

What happened to his dog? It's a valid question.

And it cracks me up that I've seen this movie millions of times (alright, maybe not millions but a lot) and I always wonder, what happened to his dog.
