Coming home I was doing 35 because I though it was a 30 mile an hour zone and I was wrong. I guess I should have done the speed i though and it wouldn't be so bad [not that it matters]. Well because of your situation. It looks like your in a bind and it would be probly hard for you to get out of it without a lawyer. So I would recommand this. I have been in your shoes thousands of times. Contest the ticket. Meaning you want a court date. Mail it in. It will take probly weeks for them to send you a court date. That court date probly wont be until probly close to 6 months from now or longer. Now when the court date comes, dont show up. You will have 30 days from the court date to pay the fine. This should give you enough time to get the money to pay the ticket. If you have the money before the court date. Just call up and say that you will pay the fine instead..

This should give u some breathing room....

You have 20 days from now to give them a answer. I would recommand that.

Thats what did. I contested it and if I get the money soon I'll just pay it off otherwise I'll have to wait till the cort date and pay it off then. But thank you for the insite. it's very much apprecieated.

I would never not show up.. but I was thinking about as soon as i got the moeny that I would just pay it and not deal with court because i'm a big chicken like that.. But now that you mention it, it's not a half bad idea, I go in and tell my story and see what heppanes maybe i'll get lucky.. but if not at least i'll have the money to pay it off. Not like they can up the fine just like that. the ticket is already written. Great advice. Although this cop was fairly young so unless he gets injured between now and then, i don't think he'll retire. But yeah- I'll be there.
