I'm really sad and confused now. I don't know really what to do but I kind of feel hopeless. My life has no direction. I'm not taking a year off school as that idea was directly shot down by the person I told that to. Yet I keep getting pressured to choose what I want to be. I started kidding around and said I wanted to be a "jack of all trades". ( Read more... )

I'm not sure if you realize this, but you just said being a magazine editor is your perfect job. You just figured out something you'd like to do. So run with it. Or research jobs close to it.

I don't even realize these things until someone comments on it. I'd love to do that. That would be my perfect job. I'm gonna run with it. And see what good comes out of it. And hopefully some good does come out of it.

or own a coffee shop. you seemed keen on that idea earlier. you'd get to run all aspects of it and it would be neat. you could decide what it looked like and who performs there and the atmosphere. give people an alternative to starbucks! (but which i love with a fiery passion)

I'd love to own a coffee shop. I'd really have to work hard for it though. I was thinking of owning a coffe place or a diner or something but I'd really have to work hard to do it. But you guys got Fox's so I guess I could do it!

I personaly think you should do something that involves people. You make people so happy. Look at all your friends who love you. Just remember not to let any of them shoot down any of your ideas. This is your life and it is always good to take a little chance. Life will push you in the right direction. I promise! Whether you own a coffee shop, are a magazine editor, or work at the local seven eleven, do whatever makes you the happiest. Even if you are only making 50 cents an hour, your life will be much more fufilled if you love what you do and everyone loves you.

God I sound like a fortune cookie.

Just keep little Allie Fauer stored in the back of your mind when you meet all your little artsy friends.

I miss you

I miss you so much Allie.

I don't know how you do it but you always say the right thing. The perfect thing. Just before I read this comment I had made up my decision on the matter. And you described it better than I could. Just a pleasant surprise that you and I think the same way. It was pretty much the idea I had come up with exactly. I don't know how you do it. Well, I guess now I have to write the entry to go with it. Thanks for this buddy. It's my total online fortune cookie.

Of course you'll be on my mind. You've been on my mind since you left. And before then obviously. I miss you too.
