The train ride back was comfortable, but I was sorry to see the holidays end. Christmas is actually quite a lot of fun away from my relatives, and even away from Hogwarts. Classes never seemed to start up so soon.

He's all right. Sick of being unable to stretch his wings, of course. I'm tempted to ask Dumbledore if Hagrid could take him. Surely the Ministry doesn't remember him by now... And we could rename him, perhaps.

Hagrid would love it, but as long as Malfoy's around, it probably wouldn't work. Maybe we could pack him off to the Ministry.
