Here's the deal. I love MAC computers but noone I am friends with in Virginia or work with knows anything about them so if I have a problem that cannot be adequately described over the phone to my cinematographer nephew, I'm stuck. Sooo, I can't add new photos or do a lot of other things with this journal because various indexes jam on top of one

But this is what I tell my clients... Find a teenager.. Surely there is one nearby... they don't have to be Mac Geeks just saavy on computer's period. they will be able to help you explain your problem, if not solve it.. If you ever need a sterio set up definately get a teenager. It's easier. Teenagers are wired for this stuff. If you become desparate Geek Squad does Mac too. (They are out of best buy.. which I think is everywhere - again I could be wrong.)

I had a similar problem on a PC (if I'm understanding you correctly) and basically it was resolved by lowering the resolution of my display and making sure I kept my windows maximized. If the display settings are something you feel comfortable playing with, that's where I'd start.
