It's not that it's a sun and moon, it's that the sun and moon are ARRANGED WITH SUCH ASYMMETRY. I mean, I get asymmetry, I really do. But it seems blasphemous to use it on a clock, especially when everything else in its design is so symmetrical. IT'S JUST BAD DESIGN.
I've heard that's a fun game! Unfortunately, I have no idea where I'd actually get a copy -- although I've heard Yuri is hilariously bad as Ashe, which makes me want to play it even more. There's nothing I love more than Yosuke At An Urban Outfitters Sale, which is all I hear when Yuri does dark and/or ebil roles.
I dunno, I like it off-kilter. Then again, I'm not an art student. XD
He's just hilarious in that game, period. It's really Luke's personality and his ability to just deliver those lines so damn well. You'll walk this line between hating him and feeling sorry for him. But Asch? Lulz. Just. Lulz. Unfortunately, it can be a hard game to track down. Namco-Bandai hates us.
I love that Yuri Lowenthal plays like, at least four characters in P3. And then I try to imagine what Yosuke sounded like at different stages of his life, yep He's everywhereeee :o
I know! My save game is literally the day before Ryoji comes in, but if baby Yosuke sounded like Pharos, no wonder he didn't have any friends. His classmates would all have nightmares.
I think my favorite Yuri Appearance in that game is the NPC Jesus shoots (I think he shoots him?). It just sounds like Yosuke freaking out under dire circumstances...which shouldn't have made me laugh, but-
YEP OH MAN. I uh. I really enjoyed Ryoji in P3P, just gotta toss that out there. :Db Ahaha... Oh jeebus, there's no help for me. Yuri also plays a doctor way at the end, depending on some stuff you do. Why hello 30-year-old Yosuke, my you certainly grew up, yes. :>

ohgod Professor Layton is a beautiful game. :| My friend and I got stuck on a puzzle game whose answer turned out to be the first letters of the days of the week. "It's something you learn in kindergarten! :D" MY ASS. I went superhardcore on finding it out, too, thinking it was some sort of code. :CCC I had a full notebook page of possible common codes. :|
Also I want that game. Why is there no DS emulator for macs? DDDD:

Isn't it just, though? All those character designs make my eyes go ping! ever five seconds. They're just so beautifully, creatively, grotesquely crafted. It presses all my buttons in just the right spots!

Eeee I knowww, it's more french/european animation and comic style instead of LOLANIME. Which is totally why I love it to bits and pieces, because it's adorable without relying on lolokawaiidesueyes or chibis. They all just have so much more characterrrr. And the color palette and aged look omgomg. I love iiiit.
I tend to do well on most of the puzzles that drive people up the wall. For example, the hat puzzle in this one took me no time and I had heard that it was MURDER. But if the answer is ever involves some sort of visual diagram that requires scrutiny, I always screw up. I don't trust the drawing! I keep looking for things in it, or finding a small shadow (that's really just one line a little thicker than the others) and deciding THIS IS THE KEY TO THE WHOLE PUZZLE.
It was the same on math diagrams on school tests. "Accept that this triangle is not to scale, apply these measurements to its sides" was just not something my brain could do.
Professor Layton is on my list of Favorite Things Ever, along with Persona and Harvest Moon and Lady Gaga and Pokemon and all sort of other guilty pleasures... But some of the puzzles kill me too. Anything involving spacial recognition? Can't do it. The clock cog puzzle right after that one made me snap my stylus in half. :|
Also...this is embarrassing. But man. I've just spent like, hours, combing through this discedo business and...although I haven't roleplayed seriously in forever, and LJ roleplayed for like...a day. I want. Is there any need for a Nanako to your extra adorable Yosuke and equally extra adorable Souji?
