do you think $500 is too much to ask someone to pay on hotel rooms for a period of 7 nights? not sure that statement was clear. i'm trying to say they get a room for 7 nights in a hotel and will pay $500 total - is that too much? it would include breakfast ( Read more... )

$500 for 7 nights sounds perfectly reasonable to me!

we are very excited about the possiblity of getting a place but that seems to make me think something has to go wrong.

the more i think about it the more i realize it is not a lot. but this is a guy who came to visit and wanted to stay in NJ to save money. and we are not talking over the bridge.. he wanted to stay someplace where he had to take the metro north a few stops outside of NY. i don't get people like this at all.

Hey there! I do not think that $500 for 7 nights is pricey at all especially that the price includes breakfast! I'm so glad your going to Costa Rica - your going to LOVE IT!

yep, it looks like CR is going to be our spot this year. we should be giving DH friend the price soon so we'll see what he says.

No f'n way ~ $500 for 7 nights? That is a GREAT deal, especially if the hotel is nice and clean. Tell Fred that's actually less than what we're paying for our Vegas hotel for TWO nights.

Ooooh, and good luck with the co-op! Have you checked what your credit score is currently?

We're going for our one year anniversary! Damn, it's been ONE YEAR already!!

Girl, definitely check out your score, but especially to check if there's anything weird going on. I never found anything funny with mine, but D did -- like there was one really old credit card that he had that was somehow reporting that there were still charges, even though he had closed that account years ago.
