Does T at least know you bank account number? Cause Fred has no clue what our is. He only knows the name of the bank becasue I worked there for 4 years.

I keep telling Fred, are you tired of me yelling? Cause you have total control over getting me to shut up. Just do your end of the work and I won't yell.

Sounds like you did indeed make some progress and good for you. I pretty much run the house as well. If I give DH something to do - it's usually done half-ass and I wind up doing it myself in the end which is not a good solution. At least Fred gets the dishes pretty much right and the Bathroom well...sounds like he has improving to do :-) Let's see how he does with the laundry...you might want to watch him the 1st few times as you don't want your favorite white shirt to come back purple :-)

Hope you worked out the CC situation and you got to keep your reservation! Just think you'll be on vacation soon and relaxation will be your biggest worry!

I have to give it to Fred, he does get the dishes washed. Our system is I cook he washes but sometimes he's not in the mood to wash and will actually ask me not to cook so that he won't have to clean. Hee.

I ended up having to get my mom to pay the hotel and we'll pay her back. Tomorrow Fred will go and get us new Visa cards but hopefully the other hotel we are using takes AmEx or we may have issues. I'm still waiting to hear back from them. Why does getting to the vacation take so much work?

Lady,

I swear, I feel as though we could trade places without missing a beat! :) Sounds like I could have written that post, verbatim (minus the school part)! I know you will enjoy Fred handling the laundry! This is P's one chore that he does without any encouragement (read: nagging) on my behalf.

I laughed just a little bit when I was reading your post, imagining you on Saturday afternoon all flustered while your hubby gets his beauty sleep in his chair. WTF is right! :D

Baby steps are good, because it is still progress. Rejoice in that!

Nope. There is NO way you could have written my post. I see what you say about P. He does a lot more then Fred. Cooking? Multiple nights in a row? That is so not happening in my house.

Progress is GREAT! Glad for Fred picking up some more chores. hubby and i tried to do this and we arent quite there yet. we were talking about alternating chores on a 2 week trial basis.

sorry to hear about the credit cards fiasco. i dont understand hotels sometimes ;)

in all honesty i don't trust Fred to do all the chores... half wont get done. at this point i just want him to have a few permanent chores and we can call it a day.

Good for you for taking a stand!

I really think a LOT of husbands do this. It is up to us to kick their patooties into shape. ;)

Most of my friends act like I'm lucky when I say Fred washes dishes 95 percent of the time but I don't think that's enough. I guess we'll see how these changes go.
