Costa Rica was an amazing trip. Kasia, you were right, I loved it - which completely surprised me. It was thee most relaxing trip I have ever taken. I could not have asked for more

I wonder if it depends on what time of year you go, or where you go? We went in June and we didn't have cloudy looking skies - it was sunny and clear all the time (except about an hour each day when it would rain). I'm glad you had a fun time! Can't wait to see more pictures.
I think it depends on where you are. It only happened when we were in the mountain areas (which includes around the volcano). When we went to the coast it was clear sky's and HOT-HOT-HOT. It was not hot in the mountains.
No bats, lucky you. One flew right by ear and I yelped.
Thanks. I am getting a link for the rest of the photos now.
My foot is still having issues. I ramed my shin into a wooden platform when I was swinging over the trees. I have a cut which is not so much the issue. My foot itself is swollen and purple. It gets worse as the day goes on.. bigger and bigger. I am going to see a doctor but have not had much time. Hopefully Monday.
ooh, gorgeous. I too love that misty cloud-like atmosphere - so eerie and beautiful.
I loved your descriptions of everything, especially this:
"When we arrived at the Inn we could not see anything. Sitting in the drive way we could not see what the house looked like. We could not see the view it had of the ocean, nothing. It was actually really beautiful in a mysterious way. I loved that it was uncommon and not something we normally experience. It was also exciting to wake up in the morning, before the clouds settled, and see all these things we could not see the day before. It was like unwrapping a gift."
Awww, thanks! You are too sweet. The cloud thing WAS eerie. On the first morning I woke up early and saw the great view we had and it was like the great unexpected gift. I ran to the room to get my camera and was hooking up to the tripod for photos. I was in the room for maybe 15 minutes. I went out to take photos and the clouds had settled. No view! So we had to wait till the next morning to get photos. Crazy!
BTW, I've missed your posting but I know you are busy. How is the business?

You never mentioned how the wedding went that you shot. Were you, and the bride, happy?
