"Quick kitchen question for you ladies… when you cook, what do you do with things like cooking spoons, thongs etc that you are using at the time? Also, what about the lids to the pots?"

thongs? you shouldn't cook in just a thong, beebeck. you could burn your hoo-hoos. or, god forbid, your hoo-ha!

I put out a spoonholder or a little plate for spoons, and i don't usually have a problem with lids - they are either on or off or in the sink to be washed.

rofl! i did say thongs, didn't i? and that's actually what i tend to call them in real life. not because i'm funny or anything but because i often think that is their real name until some corrects me. blah!

we have a "crock" (basically a ceramic jar) which holds spatulas, spoons, etc...it's helpful, but I really should buy a spoon holder because I tend to lean spatulas on the hot pots and pans and burn them! congrats on the new place!

I know but I always get this fear just before commiting to a color that would take "work" to correct if I end up hating it. Call me lazy! And the worse part is, it's such a small section that I plan to paint that it's almost stupid of me to even speak of.
