and even though it’s summer there aren’t bratty kids at the hotel ( Read more... )

Amen, sister!

What about New England? The pools are not "fabulous" but the spas might be great!

Yeah, it just occured to me that when I am home with Graycen I can never give him the full attention he should get. We spend A LOT of time together but I also can always find a dish to be washed, something to dust and I just can't let my place go. I think if we get away it would be so nice.

Any place in particular in New England. I am clueless on that area.

Hmmm, that's tough!

But since you have a personal nanny, I'd suggest a cruise. There aren't as many brats running around (and there's an adults only pool/hot tub on most ships) on a cruise, as many other destinations.

There are ships that leave from New York, so you could save on airfare there.

I've done a lot of cruises and have really enjoyed them BUT about 1.5 years ago we did one in August and it my worst vacation ever. In part due to A LOT of kids on this ship. OMG, it was horrible. I actually thought it wouldn't have too many kids due to it being late August and I thought kids were going back to school but I guess I was very WRONG.

Oh by the way - it's an *expensive* slice of heaven - but totally worth the $$$.

I can't believe nobody said Charleston yet! Are you kidding? You HAVE to go to Charleston. There are reasonable places to say, you don't need a rental car, you can walk everywhere, and it's completely gorgeous. Good shopping, great food, and plenty of places you can just chill with an infant. Lots of history and stuff you can look at while strolling with him. Remember my wedding? Just ask if you need any specific recommendations.

OK, now you have me wanting to go to Charleston. Is July a good month? I can't recall what month you got married.
