and how was the lecture... did you miss it? I would love to hear whether it made any difference to your attitude to the book... let me know Bianca.... MG
So overall I think your LJ looks great and there are some excellent entries... and I like all the "stuff" you put in about your life... but some of your comments could be more developed... and I would love to see some more of your own creative stuff... poems or even stories based on your own life experience...... Ciao MG
Comment on your Entry for week 8.talithatnOctober 13 2006, 00:58:39 UTC
Oh dear Bianca. This entry is very late but You are so true! I absolutely found it “boring” to read the Conversations at Curlow Creek . The first time I read it, the language seemed complicated and I had no interest in it whatsoever which also made me fall asleep. It was weird coz I don’t usually sleep during the day but this book made me sleep. The way MG talked about Conversations at Curlow Creek today in the lecture was truly interesting. I only wish we had more time to read the whole book with MG because he explains it brilliantly. He uses the right tone of the language and paints the scenery in my mind about Conversations at Curlow Creek. He absolutely captures my interest in this book
