STOP. REWIND.

1. I AM able to make it to London for Chris Pine's birthday! \o/ The thing that was, will now be a thing in mid-September instead. So, where do we want to meet up? There's a Pinto takeaway in Greenford, a Pinto Thai Kitchen (needs fic) in Ealing, or a Star Trek tube tour that we could replicate.

Or, more srsly, we could find a decent pub somewhere ( Read more... )

When it's confirmed can you let me know? Because the sooner I can buy a train ticket the cheaper it will be for me

I bought mine last night, so I can confirm you can definitely come meet me in London on Fri 26th August if nobody else, and I'm pretty sure we can do Chris proud with just the two of us...

Oh, how I WISH I lived anywhere NEAR London, but sadly, I do not. I shall have to be with you in spirit. Maybe I can convince my roomie to watch the next Chris Pine movie we're ready for in our trek across his career. I just checked, the next one we're ready for is Smokin' Aces *grin*

Balls. DROP EVERYTHING AND FLY HERE IMMEDIATELY.

Chris's accent is, uh, an interesting choice in Smokin' Aces. Or accentS, more precisely. Also, Ryan Reynolds has an open invitation to do me however he wants in whichever orifice he chooses. JSYK.

Oh man... I may need to plan to do that next year... (assuming I ever get this job...) It would be SO much fun hang out with fellow pinto fans in celebration of our man Pine's birthday...

All of Chris' accents are... scary XD at least the ones he's demonstrated before a camera XD He should leave the classical acting talents to Zach and stick with what works for him, looking badass and DAMNED sexy. Okay, he's a better actor than that, but I hope he gets some more vocal coaching before someone tries to make him hide his native CA accent again XD

Weirdly, and this is something you can't unhear - Chris sounds almost exactly like Christian Slater. They're voice twins.

Any chance you could get your fine ass to Orlando, FL for the first weekend in November? Worth a shot.

this is kind of unrelated but WILL LONDON STILL EVEN EXIST BY THEN?

beederiffic August 9 2011, 19:47:31 UTC
Or the UK, even? We're only small. Small and ANGRY!

Assuming everything hasn't been burned down or looted by then, I would suggest Monmouth Coffee as the LAMill equivalent. And I discovered this place in Soho the other day that was very good.

Those both look lovely, but I'm leaning towards The Enterprise as it's got booze, coffee and food, so covers all bases. We might need to consider booking a table if we're meeting anywhere near lunchtime, though.

Ah yes, good thinking! I've booked the day off work so can turn up whenever. :)

If the whole of London hasn't burnt to a frizzle by then, that looks spot on.
