I love your writing style and wish I could emulate it.

That's particularly lovely to read as I worry I'm horribly repetitive.

So glad you're liking it. And, OMG FEEDBACK. Looook! It's like a party (in me knicks).

It's not at all repetitive. Honestly, if I were editing this, I'd be hard put to find anything to edit!

And I'm so happy you're getting lots of feedback. I'm saving my knicker party until we hit the bit that made you rate this NC-17. *waggles eyebrows* xx

Oh this is painful to read! In a really really good way, that is. It's just so hurty and sad. My heart aches so much for poor Marcus, despised by all his colleagues (even if Esca is secretly lusting after him heh).

Definitely lusting. There will be many lustings. SO MANY LUSTINGS.

I haven't even seen the source material and I'm loving this - you're a consummate storyteller, and this has been delicious to read so far. I'm enjoying the background as much as the sexual tension, and great character building. Can't wait for more, and thank you for sharing this.

Wow, what a lovely thing to say. You're always so generous and giving with your feedback, I wish I could do halfway as well. Thank you!

OH, I want to hug Esca so much! Poor thing, so torn between his attraction to Marcus paired with genuine fondness and even the sympathy he tries to deny, and what he believes he has the right to feel because of Marcus's descent. I only hope that it's not really a surprise to Marcus (and he really is trying to befriend Esca) :)

I'm glad the fondness is coming through. Thanks for your comments, I'm giddy over the feedback I'm getting on this.

Oh this continues to be wonderful, utterly utterly wonderful.
The post-war racist nuances, the whole school staff that is so full of detail and character that they're far from just OCs, the banter between them so very real.

And Esca protecting himself with his bristly demenaour and you're wonderful, alluring Marcus who's an excellent, passionate teacher and befuddled by mutton.

Aren't we all befuddled by mutton? We should be.

Thank you so, so much for your fabulous feedback so far, and I hope you continue to enjoy it.
