Alright, so, I don't know if I've commented on this story before; have I commented on this story before? I'm not sure; I'm frightfully forgetful, you see.

This has been highly irrelevant.

What I meant to say - withough exessive keysmashing - was that I am completely and utterly in love with this story! Each part is a joy to read for it is very well written, and it makes me so happy as well, because the 40's and 50's are my favourite eras, both in style and language and what you've done with this is just so fabulous and fancy and I can't believe it! Such a good piece - good job! *Cue standing ovations*

Ohhhhhhhh all the meaningful glances, and gorgeous, tenacious Marcus who of course wants to be Esca's friend (and the rest...), because who wouldn't?

I love Marcus' quiet determination and gentleness, while all the time you can feel how much of a physical presence he has.

Also - how fab is Fiona?! I like her too, Esca. :D
