The Super Collosal SV Series Finale.
You know what I think? I think that Clark and Lois weren't the only ones exchanging vows last night. Clark and Lois's vows were lovely. They talked about their shared history and all that had brought them to this point. They voiced their rock solid commitment and vowed to always be there for each other. And what did Clark and Lex do shortly thereafter? They talked about their shared history and all that had brought them to this point. We always knew that of course, but last night they made it official. :)
For me the finale was filled with iconic moments, pretty moments, squeeful moments, "awwww" moments, and many very cheesy moments. With extra cheese on top, even. The script was melodramatic and plodding, but overall...really satisfying. There was flights and tights and Clark and Lex promising to always be up in each other's lives. In other words, wide open to a metric ton of glorious fanfic. And validating a whole lot of old future fics that I may now go back and read. Farewell, and thanks for the memories, SV. ♥♥♥
