Tonight I went to a Q&A with Thomas Schlamme, the creator/director of THE WEST WING. It was awesome. They screened 2 episodes (they were soooo good), and then he talked and answered questions. yeah schlamme went to belaire (like most good jews from houston) with my dad. he went by tommy so his name was tommy schlamme, which makes me giggle. but besides that, the west wing is DAMN good and i have it TIVO'ed so i can enjoy it 24/7.

Aah! My mom and I were sooooo wondering if he was Jewish!! I really hoped he was too (obviously). In fact, I thought about telling him I was Jewish, and then I was like, "oh no, what if HE'S not Jewish?" (That would be weird) But he is! SCORE! I also laughed quite hard at the notion of his name being "Tommy Schlamme." Maybe I could make it if my name was like "Becca Schmecca" or something...

I am very jealous. West wing is my favorite show, but it was (in my opinion) better with Aaron Sorkin. The recent episodes are great too. Im glad you got to do that, it must have been a great expreience.
