Congratulations! I don't think I'm ready for this myself but I dream of having the patience - and necessary commitment - to dread my hair one day. I look forward to see them on you in person.

thanks so much for taking the time to write this all up for me! i don't think i'd make the 5 weeks either but i can live with once a week. and really possibly more as it's just that my hair looks so blah if not washed like every 3 days. it will be totally different when i'm not fixing it all the time.

so it sounds like i maybe wouldn't lose a ton of length and i should be ok with where my hair is now. that makes me feel better.

*laughs* and of course i have another question.......you still dye right? cuz i'm a blonde who doesn't want to be blonde and i really don't want to give up dying either.

I did lose a bit of length, so I had her do the synth (long ones you see in the pic) to compensate. : )

I still dye my hair black even with the dreads (in fact it takes less dye) lol. I just make sure to rinse extra well.

Feel free to ask any more questions~~~ : )

Wow, sounds like she really knew what she was doing. I thought I was good starting dreads, I think I have a little more work to do.

If I ever do dreads again I think maybe I'll come all the way over there and see her lol

She was indeed well skilled. As are you!....have you ever considered adding Hairpolice training to your styling skills? They only teach licensed stylists. I bet there are loads of girls in your area who would love extensions or dreads.

I'm actually not sure who that is. It sounds vaguely familiar but I've been out of the fake dread loop for a while lol.

I always love more education. Whatever I'm doing, I'm sure there are ways to improve!
