I think the tongue-face implies the sarcasm necessary to assume she's thanking you for omitting her. (That sentence reminds me of that long sentence about time management in our AP video.)
In your defense, though, we clearly update for humor and/or sharing ridiculous tidbits, so mentioning parts of our lives that are actually significant would detract from that. (I'm contractually obligated, however, to agree with Terri.)
