... Aaand that is pretty much the extent of my Swedish skills. (Kidding, it's just a great line to throw around.)
Inherited gold ring? What's the story behind that one? :)
OMG Slaughter Your World! Did you know that Looking For Group is the best thing ever they invented, right after RDJ and Sherlock Holmes? <333 That comic series is so made of win, it's such a shame they haven't got to making the movie yet.
The memory of J.A.R.V.I.S.’s line in Iron Man 2: “It’s nice to see a video of you with your clothes on for a change, sir.”
I. what. x'DD I'm going to see that on Thursday. So looking forward to it!
It was such a long time since I saw anything in Swedish on the internet. Thank you for the pleasant surprise! ♥
It's not a grand story, really. When my mum was fifteen, she got a really cute gold ring with a microscopic diamond in it from an elderly couple who were both her neighbours and her dear friends. And when I was fifteen, she gave it to me. With the motivation that she couldn't very well give me one of her old engagement rings. :D
I've only seen that one video, but I'm very curious about the comic. Would you mind giving me a rough idea about what it is about?
HONEST TO GOD, THAT'S THE ACTUAL LINE. And it really doesn't help my Tony/J.A.R.V.I.S. shipping tendencies. :| Ah, really? I'm eagerly awaiting to hear your reaction. I liked it, and I think I'll watch it again now that I've had time to think about it. A non-spoily spoiler for you: RDJ is on fire in that flick. ♥
No problem. <3 (You know, it was such a strange, strange experience to discuss Holmes in Finnish with some people last night. Nowadays, I operate 98% in English on the internet.)
"Grand" is not important, "interesting" is! :D I've got one of Mum's old rings, too, a very pretty silvery one. It's not an old engagement ring either, just something she had and wanted to give me.
LfG is... a bit of a parody of Warcraft and D&D. But you don't have to know both/either to enjoy it - although it certainly helps, Cale'anon is pretty much a parody of Drizzt Do'Urden - if you like fantasy and the humour. There's a group of characters who are on a quest. *muses* Yeah, that's pretty much it. xD It's all available online here even though you can also order it in print.
Tony/Jarvis <3 (Er, sorry, I tend to be lazy about the name and spell it like normal names.) There are some great fics, I've got a few mem'd. ISN'T HE ALWAYS? (Am looking forward to that. :D)
