Anyway, I just received a lovely little visit from a GV DPS officer. It seems that after I had my little hissy fit of melodrama via livejournal entry, facebook status and note, and then deleted my ( Read more... )

I had trouble reading that really long word up there.

What I hate the most is GV's policy on these things. "Hey, you're having a rough time. We're going to invade your privacy and possibly kick you out of school. Hope you feel better!"

I also didn't notice that you deleted your Facebook.

Apparently I suck as a friend. Forgive me?

They can KICK YOU OUT OF SCHOOL for being suicidal??! It seems like that would only exacerbate the problem. Grand Valley = jackasses.

Yup. It's so dumb. They can even kick you out just for being a cutter/self-mutilator. It makes me so effing mad.

One time my boyfriend called 911 because we were in a fight and I wanted to take a drive by myself. He thought I was going to drive off a cliff or something, so I got a nice visit from a police officer in the parking lot of my apartment complex and finally had to surrender my car keys.

Yes, it's embarrassing and uncalled for. I do think it's better to be safe than sorry when you're worried about friends, but also be smart about it. I would much rather have my friends come to comfort me than have the police at my door.

Hope things are looking up for you after all of this drama, my friend.
